Greg's band Bluebottle was together for all of his formative years high school and college years and beyond, 1995-2005. They reunited for a couple shows since then, but this is their first recorded track since 2005. In high school our friend Patrick wrote lyrics about a girl he liked as a parody to this song (which at the time we didn't realize is actually a Cub song). For his 40th birthday, we updated it to be about him and his wife Samantha, who live in Chicago. Bluebottle sent Greg tracks from Chicago, Nashville and as far as Washington DC. It came out pretty sweet.
